Which means it’s been 20 years since Nunavut became the newest territory of Canada. Happy 20th birthday Nunavut!

I consider myself a 90th-percentile geography person (which is 99.9% among US Americans) and I honestly believed Nunavut was just a latter-day First Nation renaming of NW Territories. That’s a heckuva random carvout there. I bet the people on Victoria island are both still confused.
ALL MY MAPS ARE WRONG!

The Mercator projection was causing too many people to worry about Greenland, so we just switched to a US map. We have enough infighting for an entire globe.

Living in Southern Alberta has me spoiled. The weather down here is pretty mild, for the most part.
I’m sure with every degree above zero, the air becomes that percentage of mosquitoes. 10 degrees above? Air becomes 10% mosquitoes. 13 degrees? 13% mosquitoes.
